WHAT TIME DO SHUTTLES START TO VENUE?
Shuttles will start arriving at the hotels at 3pm. Please note that there is limited time and limited space on the shuttles, so please try to be ready to go for 3pm and wait for your Trolley. It is called Shooboo Trolley. Any issues please reach out to the contacts listed on top of the FAQs. We are making sure they have the schedule.
Will there be transportation provided?
Transportation will be provided the day of the wedding to the venue to and from only the hotels that have been recommended (The Boulevard, The Mainland, Daddy O's, and Hotel LBI. Please be sure to include in your RSVP where you will be staying and if you intend on using the provided transportation. There will be parking on the venue property available to those who would like to drive. The bride and groom please request that you take the provided transportation if you are drinking as we would like to see you all arrive home after this wonderful night safe and sound. If you do drive to the venue and leave your car, you will just need to retrieve it by 10am the next morning.
Where is the recommended place to stay?
The bride and groom have arranged hotel blocks at The Boulevard 609-467-8990, The Mainland 609-481-6100, and Daddy O's 609-494-1300 all codes listed under Travel tab. However, one of the closer hotels to the venue that did not allow room blocks is Hotel LBI 609-467-8000 as well as there are many AIRBNB possibilities on the island. Please note we will not be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue for AirBNBs.
Are children allowed?
In order to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without worrying about any little eyes and ears, as much as we love them, we politely request no children.
Are there things to do when we are not doing anything wedding related?
There certainly are! While many believe October is in the off season on LBI, it actually is still within season with much to do. Many restaurants will be open if you are looking to grab a nice lunch, the beach is always nice for a walk, there is a brewery and distillery nearby, boutique shopping up and down the strip, an arcade in the Mainland Hotel, a candy store that carries a lot of nostalgic items, Viking Village sometimes has art shows going on, take a walk up to the lighthouse, visit a spa, drive 45 mins and you can visit Atlantic City even, the options are endless!
What time is the Ceremony?
Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm on 10/19. If you arrive a bit before, we will have a lovely champagne bar to grab a glass beforehand. We ask if you are members of the immediate family to check in with the bride and groom if you will be needed at the venue earlier for pictures.
Cocktail hour will be at 5pm followed by dancing, food and partying our hearts out until 10pm.
What should I wear?
Formal attire is requested. To add a little fun, for the reception please feel free to put on your cowboy/girl hats and boots! However, we will be keeping it traditional during the ceremony so hats off during that time please.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors right next to the reception hall. If it rains, it will take place inside the greenhouse also next to the reception hall. Please note that the ceremony is on the grass, so ladies please take caution when choosing your shoes for the day.
What is the best way to RSVP?
Please RSVP on the website if that is accessible to you. once the formal invites go out we will be sure to provide a physical RSVP if you would like to respond that way. Please note that if you RSVP'd before the formal invitations went out, you might need to do so again since we will have other information needed from you that might not currently be up yet at the time the Save the Dates went out.
what is the complete schedule for the weekend?
As we get closer, please check back on our website as we will be sure to put up an itinerary for everyone, along with suggested things to do around the island.
What are the closest airports?
Newark airport is one of the airports that will have the most flight options and is an hour and a half from LBI. Philadelphia airport is about the same as Newark. Atlantic City airport, if you are able to find a flight there is about a 45 minute drive.
